The effort put into anonymous media communications is a trade-off with the effort to be present and invest in local community. Social media also raises privacy concerns. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the future, may return to Instagram, Facebook and other Social Media. Instagram was, at one time, my go-to source when pictures and videos transcended the print message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At present, you can find me both on LinkedIn and Reddit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Using Apps for Transportation Education:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/trid.trb.org\/View\/2446999\">https:\/\/trid.trb.org\/View\/2446999<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A program that my colleague Maria Foster and I developed to help older adults become more familiar with their transportation options and get comfortable learning how to access them with a smartphone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cdc.gov\/motorvehiclesafety\/distracted_driving\/index.html\"><strong>Distracted Driving:<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nhtsa.gov\/risky-driving\/distracted-driving\">https:\/\/www.nhtsa.gov\/risky-driving\/distracted-driving<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The CDC (Center for Disease Control\/gov) site describes the three sources of distracted driving and examines distracted driving in the context of a public health problem.
